How it works

Almost everyone who follows Jesus started the same way: reading a short passage with someone else and talking it through. That's a Discovery Bible Study — simple enough that anyone who can ask a question can do it.
Eat the Word
Read the passage, read it again, then tell it back in your own words. Retelling it is how you know you've really taken it in.
Digest
Talk through four questions together. This is where a story on the page becomes something you actually do.
Grow
You don't have to make anything happen. You read, you obey what you see, and God gives the growth.

Begin with the story itself. These walk through who Jesus is and what he did, so you can decide what you make of him.
If you've just started following Jesus
Begin with the ground under your feet — who you now are, and the first steps of following him day by day.
If you want to read with someone else
You don't have to be an expert to help someone know Jesus
Ordinary believers can help others encounter God through Scripture. You don't need to be a scholar — you need to trust the Word and the Holy Spirit, and be willing to walk with someone. Whether your church uses CoMission or not, there is a way for you to start.
