B5 — The Track and the Bench
Level 4 is the escalator that turns feeders into facilitators; Level 5 is the bench where the program reproduces its own teachers. Your scorecard is leaders released.
Module B5 · theme: relay / release
Look back first. How did the age-pipeline start go? Reports from your youth, children’s, and family beginnings.
Level 4 — the discipleship track. A deliberate escalator that walks people rung by rung — the 4-week → reader and 8-week → facilitator configurations living inside your existing program. Level 2 makes the congregation fluent at feeding themselves; Level 4 turns feeders into facilitators.
Level 5 — the bench. The people who rise become your teachers and facilitators; feed them into the monthly leader track. Now the program reproduces its own teachers — you have a system, not a program.
Your scorecard is leaders released, not ministry performed.
That’s the Ephesians 4 equipper. The pattern is MAWL — Model → Assist → Watch → Launch.
Read Ephesians 4:11–16 aloud, twice. Leaders equip the saints; the body builds itself up.
I used to keep the best people busy serving me instead of releasing them. The turn: release the hungry, don’t hoard them.
Practice: sketch your Level-4 track from the existing configs, and list 2–3 bench candidates by name — plus the first thing you’ll entrust to each.
Your “I will”: open one discipleship cohort and name 2–3 bench candidates, by [date].
