Why the List Matters More Than You Think

Because the facilitator never teaches, the passage list *is* the theology of the group.

Here’s what surprises new leaders: in a Discovery group you never teach — so all of the “theology” lives in one place, the order of the passages. Choose the prodigal son, then Jesus healing and forgiving, then Jesus calling ordinary people, and the group is being led somewhere real, without a single lesson. You don’t have to be a Bible teacher. You have to be a guide who knows the trail — and let the Word do the teaching.
