Protect It, Multiply It

Look back first. Did you facilitate? Where did you over-talk? Honest reports on the hardest habit of all — jumping in to teach.

Read Acts 2:42–47 aloud, twice. A reproducing community — that’s the horizon of this whole course.

Protect it. Handle hard moments by process, not authority:

• A wrong answer? Don’t lecture. Ask the guardrail question — “Where do you see that in this passage?” — and let the passage sequence do the correcting.
• Over-talkers, quiet ones, and silence? Care for each with kindness; weed no one out. Aguante el silencio, cuente hasta diez — hold the silence, count to ten.
• The right list for the group you have? Believers, seekers, or mixed — choose the tier and list that fits, and be able to say why.

Multiply it. Release, don’t hold:

• Rotate the parts around the group.
• Raise the next facilitator by about the fourth meeting.
• Coach a seeker to host their own.

This is MAWL — model, assist, watch, leave. Your success is leaders released, not groups led.

I used to hold on to a group instead of raising someone to replace me. The turn: give it away.

Practice: role-play the hard moments out loud, and sketch your group’s next-facilitator plan — name the person.

Your “I will”: raise one person to facilitate — name and date — and name who you’ll teach this whole thing to next.

Close — the commissioning: you are sent as a disciple-maker. Name what’s next: a group to start, a person to teach. “Make me bold, make me humble.”
