Before we talk strategy, do the thing. A described Discovery Bible Study persuades no one; a tasted one does. So we open this leader course the same way you’ll open everything downstream — with a live cycle.

Grab a Bible or your phone, open to Mark 1:16–18, and run one real cycle:

Read it aloud, twice. Retell it in your own words. Then walk the four questions — and sit in the silence rather than supplying answers.

1. What does this passage show me about God?
2. What does it show me about people — and about me?
3. What will I obey — a command, an example, or a promise?
4. Who will I tell this week?

That shape — 🍞 Eat → 🥣 Digest → 🌱 Grow — is the whole method. You eat and digest; God gives the growth.

Now the reframe. This course holds both/and, not either/or:

We are not abolishing teaching. We are adding the missing half — and reproducing your best teachers. Knowledge and faith; the pulpit and the retrofit.

Most education programs were engineered to reward knowing — attendance, completed workbooks, right answers. This course re-engineers them to reward feeding and sending: members with a living habit, who read with not-yet-believers, in classes that run on discovery, led by members who are raising the next leader.

Your “I will”: come to Session B1 having done one real study on your own this week — you go first, before you ask anyone else to change.
