Build Your Own List (Do It Now)
Move from watching to doing — build a real list for a real person, then pressure-test it.
Now do it. Write down one real person or group — someone God has put on your heart. Then build a 3–8 passage list for them: pick the audience, choose the entry passage (the prodigal son is a safe default), and add passages that move toward Jesus.
Test every passage with two questions:
① Could this group retell it? ② Can each study finish in an hour?
If not, shorten or swap. Borrow a proven list, adapt one, or build from scratch — all three count. Your job is to choose the path, not to pre-explain it.
Reflect & do
Draft your list now — even 3 passages. Use the worksheet layout in the final chapter as your guide.
