Rules 3 & 4: Point to Jesus, Make It Finish-able

Order the sequence toward Jesus, and keep every study finish-able in one sitting.

The last two rules.

Rule 3 — point toward Jesus: order the passages so the group is being led somewhere — toward who God is, the problem of sin, and Jesus as Savior. Don’t collect random favorites; build a road (Luke 24:27).

Rule 4 — finish-able: aim for 8–12 passages total (fewer is fine to start), and make sure every single study can be completed in one 60–90 minute sitting, all the way through “I will…” and “who will I tell.” If a passage won’t finish in a sitting, split it or cut it.

The whole filter: audience → short → toward Jesus → finish-able.
