Belief 4 — Anyone Can Lead

Why this isn't only for pastors and teachers.

If you can ask a question, you can lead.

Because the Spirit teaches through the Word, the leader doesn’t need to be the one with the answers — only the one who asks the questions and keeps the group in the text. That changes everything. You don’t need a degree, a title, or a gift for public speaking. If you can read a story and ask, “What does this show us about God?” you can lead a study.

This is how disciple-making multiplies. When Peter and John spoke, people were amazed — not by their training, but because “they had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13). Ordinary people who have been with Jesus can lead others to Him.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.”
